Basketball Saskatchewan Announces cancellation of 2020 Club Championships (April 13th)
It is with great regret that Basketball Saskatchewan must announce the cancellation of our 2020 Club Championships that were scheduled to take place May 29th to 31st in Lloydminster.
With Lakeland College recently announcing the closure of its facilities through June, and the current public health/safety situation surrounding CoronaVirus/Covid-19, Basketball Saskatchewan has decided that the safest course of action is to cancel the 2020 Club Championships. This decision was not taken lightly and we are truly saddened that this decision needed to be made.
Registration is Now Open!
Congratulations to the Rustlers Youth Basketball Club for their successful bid to host the 2020 Club Championships. The majority of funds raised from this event will be put back into developing grassroots basketball in Lloydminster Saskatchewan. Please keep this event in mind next year if your club is looking to fundraise.
Date: May 29th-31st 2020
Location: Lloydminster Saskatchewean
Gyms: Lakeland College and various high schools
Divisions: Men’s and Women Divisions for 13U, 15U and High School Open
Division Caps: For each age category players cannot be older than the identified age as of December 31st 2020. For the HS Open Division, players must be in grade 9-12 at a high school in Saskatchewan as of tournament date.
Registration Fee: $400.00
Registration Deadline: May 15th or when divisions fill up, whatever comes first

Other Items to Note:
- We are currently capping each division to 6 teams per division. If more teams register than we have space for, the additional teams will go on a waitlist in groupings of 2 per division while we determine if additional gym space can be secured.
- Teams are not considered registered until full payment has been made. We will hold a registration spot for 1 week from time of registration and at that point if no payment has been made and there are teams on the waitlist, we will move a waitlisted team into that spot. Payments can be made by etransfer to payment@basketballsask.com (include team name) or by cheque to:

3. All teams must be registered members with Basketball Saskatchewan in order to participate. For information on how to apply for membership if you have not already done so please visit our membership area.
