Saskatchewan Summer Games

The 2020 Sask Summer Games are in Lloydminster July 26th-August 1st.  Basketball will take place for both girls and boys July 29th-August 1st.

All 9 Sports Districts will have the opportunity to field a boys and a girls team comprised of no more than 10 players.  In order for players to be eligible, they must be no older than 14 years old as of December 31st 2020.

Coaching
We are now accepting applications for all 9 districts for volunteer coaches.   Each team will have 2 coaching spots available and at least one of each teams spots must be filled by a coach of the same gender as the players. All coaches must have completed a minimum of NCCP Learn to Train by July 1st 2020.  Respect in Sport and a Vulnerable Sector Check will also be required.

Time Requirements *

Tryouts – 1 day, 4 hours
Practices – minimum of 20 hours
Summer Games – availability from July 28th-August 2nd

*exact schedules to be worked out together between Coaching Staff, BSI and District Reps
