Updated Government Guidelines November 25th 2020

On Wednesday November 25th the Government of Saskatchewan announced further restrictions due to Covid-19 which impact sport in the province.  These increased restrictions will go into effect on Friday November 27th at 12:01am and will remain in place until December 17th at which time the government will re-assess the situation. A summary of the impact on Basketball programs in the province is below.

All adult programming (leagues/training) must cease.

Youth programming (U18) can continue under BSI’s Return to Sport Guidelines for Phase 1 Activities with the following alterations:
Moving to 3 metres distance from 2 metres distance
All people must wear a mask, including players during active time on the court
Limit of 8 players on the court, and an unspecified number of coaches given the ability for all to maintain 3 metres of distance

An updated version of our Return to Sport plan with the latest guidelines included will be available on our website by end of day November 25th.
