Navanga Burke
Navanga Burke is currently in his 5th year as a head coach with Basketball Saskatchewan. He is 2010 Brock University alum, which he was a part of when the Badgers won 2008 USport Men’s Basketball Championship.
After graduating from Brock University, Navanga was able to obtain his Bachelor of Education from Redeemer University/College where he played CCAA basketball as well. While playing at Redeemer, he was selected as an OCAA All-Star and picked up team MVP.
Navanga currently works at Notre Dame as the guidance counsellor. One of Navanga’s favorite coaching experiences this year was with the recent success of the Notre Dame hounds as they were able to capture the bronze medal at the 2019 Hoopla Provincial Championship. When not coaching, Navanga likes to spend time with his wife Alisha and new born daughter, Nyla Burke.
