U11 - Steve Nash Program

 

 

Under 11 - Born in 1999 & 2000 

Cost of the program is $110.

Registration Deadline March 1st, 2010. 

 The program will consist of 2 practices a week from March 29th to May 6th
 (no practices the week of April 5th).
Each practice will be an hour long.

For participants outside of Regina & Saskatoon if there are not enough to run the program
within a small geographic area, a full refund will be provided.   

For Participants in the U11 Division Regional Tournaments will be held. 

Dates:  May 8 & 9 (girls play on Saturday, boys play on Sunday)
Location:  Will be determined based on the location and number of the participants. 
Format:  3 - 6 teams in areas as close as possible will be brought together to participate in 3 games. 
Referees will be utilized but no score will be kept
in order to focus on development of the players rather than winning.  

Objectives: 

- Developing young athletes, creating a passion and exposing them to the values, qualities and skills required to succeed in basketball
  and in life through age appropriate skills development supporting the Long Term Athlete Development model.

- Create a developmental pathway for coaches and officials through introduction to New NCCP module and officials training.
