U14 Provincial Championships

Provincial Championships Background:
Goal: The Provincial Championships were introduced to provide additional high performance opportunities in all parts of the province. 

The Provincial Championships are made up of teams from each of the zones (for a map of the zones see the online registration on the website).  There will be multiple teams from Regina and Saskatoon depending on the numbers that register.  Because of the large numbers in these zones having multiple teams evens out the competition. 

The zone teams are selected from a high performance camp run by the zone coaches in each area.  The high performance camp is 6 hours of instruction, based on a format developed by our Centre for Performance boys Head Coach. 

The major asset  to running the U14 age group is that the U15 provincial team is usually made up of older kids in the division, this gives the younger kids an opportunity to continure their development through a competitive stream.
