NCCP Intro to Competition

 Intro to Comp:

The Introduction to Competition course targets coaches instructing players in the Under 14 age category and focuses on the
Train to Train Stage 1 of the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model which was developed by Sport Canada. 

The training portion consists of 3 components:

• Making Ethical Decisions - 3 1/2 Hours
• Practice Planning - 4 Hours
• Modified Games Approach - 7 Hours 

To be certified and evaluation is required.  Details of the evaluation are currently being developed.

Advanced Intro to Comp:

Advanced Introduction to Competition course targets coaches instructing players in the Under 16 age category and focuses on the

This is currently in the pilot stage and will be roled out in the near future.
