BSI Programs

Under the registration there is the spring program, high performance camps and provincial tryouts.  Do you have to register for all three to get to try out for provincial tryouts?
No, each of these programs is individual.  If a player is registering for the U15 Provincial Team Tryouts it is recommended that they also register for the U14 or U16 tryouts which are prior to the U15's.  A player released from the U15 team must have attended the U14/U16 Camps to play for a Zone team.

Are there U15, U16 and U17 provincial teams again?
There only U15 & U17 Provincial Teams this year.  The U16 Provincial Team only happens the year prior to the Canada Games.

The High Performance Camps stated U14 and U16 – so does that mean the Grade 9 and 10’s are competing for a spot and that there are no U15 provincial team tryouts?
The U14 & U16 are Zone tryouts for our Provincial Championships.  The U15 is a Provincial Team that will represent Saskatchewan at a National Championship. The U15 Provincial Team will have an open tryout.

How do I register for the Steve Nash program?
The Steve Nash program is part of Basketball Saskatchewan's spring programs.  Once you get to the online registration and enter the child's information, the registration automatically filters you into the appropriate program.  You only have to move past the step of entering the family and then it will show you what you are registering for.
